Amending 2006 - 2007 NIB/NISH Western and Eastern Distribution Freight Request for Offers

GSA is amending the subject NIB/NISH RFO last amended September 14, 2006. Amendments include increasing the 4% Transaction Fee to 6%, eliminating the application of the Transaction Fee to the applicable fuel surcharge and establishing a Supplemental Filing Window. Supplemental filings are due by 10:00pm CST, April 13, 2009.

GSA has posted the General Freight RFO. When reviewing the Cover Letter, the RFO and its Filing Instructions (FI), please note the following significant changes: GSA is increasing the Transaction Fee to 6%; GSA is eliminating the application of the Transaction Fee to the applicable fuel surcharge; the US Mint has added new requirements for their identified traffic; and GSA is hosting a meeting for TSPs interested in GSA's Fire Suppression Support Service program. Rate offers are due by 10:00pm CST, April 13, 2009.
